Gracia Martore is is the CEO of Gannet Newspaper which owns the Journal News. It was this paper that published all of the gun owners names and addresses putting them (since many are retired police officers and other) and others who do not own weapons at risk. The ones who do not own guns are at risk for robbery and other types of militia.
Martore graduated from Wellesley College in 1973 with a double major in history and political science. While at Wellesley she was named a Scholar for academic excellence.She worked for 12 years in the banking industry before joining Gannett. In 2010 Ms. Martore’s total compensation was estimated by Forbes to be over eight million dollars. According to Forbes she is one of the most powerful women in the world.
