Recently, the NJ Teaparties has had the experience of visiting Bill Ayers at Montclair State University in March. It turns out as many of us know by know that Mr. Ayers had a duel agenda.
Montclairs k-12 system has adopted Mr. Ayers “Social Justice” curriculum in the Highschool. Click here to view the course agenda:http://www.montclair.k12.nj.us/WebPage.aspx?Id=442. As we know now that “Social Justice” is a Marxist curriculum that includes the teaching of the three e’s.

PROBLEMS WITH GETTING IT OUT OF MONTCLAIR
Montclair is a unique town in which the Board of Ed members are appointed by their mayor. NJ doesn’t have a law that says these members need to be elected. The problem with an appointed school board is that there is no checks and balances. Whatever top down managements says, they do. If you have an issue with the school board of ed, therefore you have to take it up with the mayor. Second, Montclair is a “blue” town-and has been for quite sometime. It is diverse in ethnicity and wealth. Since the taxpayers are funding this program the question then becomes, “Do they care?”
When this was brought up at the Montclair Republican Club meeting, many of them wanted to rip the school board apart. When this was brought up with the Democrats, there was mixed emotion.
To the people of Montclair and all American people, here is some food for thought:
Is it better to have a school board elected or chosen by the people?
Are the better schools the ones that promote a sea of ideas, just one ideology, or keep the politics out of the classroom?
Socialism schools are sprouting up all over the country and are well-funded. How about a school in capitalism?
